Host crashes with 3.5 dll

description

I tried to create a simple TodayApp with Visual Studio 2008, Windows Mobile 6 and .NET Compact Framework 3.5.
The Host crashes with an invalid cast exception in Main().
Do i have to recompile the Framework with 3.5?
Im using a HTC Kaiser with .NET Compact Framework 3.5 installed.

I solved the problem the following way:
  • Update Framework-Project to 3.5
  • Outcomment WM_INITDIALOG in CustomItemOptionsDlgProc (Problem with SHInitDialog, didnt find external reference)
  • recompile all

Steffel, can you please send the compilable code for Visual Studio 2008.
I get all kinds of errors when trying to compile framework. Who can help?
